Course Description:
Accredited by the Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nurses Society since 1976, the WOC Nursing Education Program prepares the graduate nurse to provide specialty care for patients with standard and continent ostomy diversions. This program is geared towards the nurse looking to obtain WOCNCB® certification following the Traditional Pathway. The Traditional Pathway program is a blended education program. It is comprised of online clinical courses, onsite skills training (Bridge Week), a comprehensive final exam, and clinical with an approved preceptor.
This Bridge Week and Clinical Informational Course includes important information related to Bridge Week, Clinical, and Tyhpon for clinical documentation.
